Hi, I’m Abass Conteh, also known as “Mr. Reliable.” I serve as the Chief Operations Officer at Elevated Wellness Clinic, where I bring structure, clarity, an open mind, and a hands-on approach to everything I do. I’m cool, calm, and collected, as well as friendly, kind, and engaging, always making people feel comfortable and heard. I genuinely care about others and am always willing to lend a helping hand. Whether I’m working behind the scenes, directly with our clients, or collaborating with community partners, I’m committed to keeping things running smoothly and creating positive outcomes. My passion is building strong systems, developing meaningful partnerships, and ensuring individuals have access to the behavioral health and recovery services they need to thrive. I believe that when people are supported with the right resources and opportunities, lasting change and recovery are possible.

Ashley Marinelli, MS, LCPC | Clinical Director
Ashley Marinelli is the Clinic Director at Elevated Wellness Clinic, where she leads with compassion, clinical expertise, and a commitment to empowering individuals, families, and professionals. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, she is dedicated to fostering inclusive, trauma-informed environments that support healing and growth.
Ashley earned her Master of Science in Counseling and completed interdisciplinary studies in Film and Media Studies, Journalism, Graphic Design, Asian American History, and Grief Counseling. This diverse background enhances her clinical perspective, enabling her to address mental health through the lens of culture, identity, communication, creativity, and evidence-based practice.
Ashley has served individuals across the behavioral healthcare continuum, including high-acuity programs, outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, school-based services, and correctional settings. Her experience with diverse populations and complex needs informs her holistic, person-centered approach, grounded in dignity, empathy, cultural humility, and the belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth.
As a clinician, supervisor, and executive leader, Ashley is committed to developing strong clinical teams, mentoring future mental health professionals, and advancing innovative, ethical, and evidence-based practices. She believes meaningful healing starts with authentic relationships, collaborative care, and environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Her leadership philosophy focuses on cultivating hope, empowering resilience, and strengthening communities through accessible, compassionate behavioral healthcare. Whether guiding clinicians, developing programs, or supporting clients during challenging times, Ashley is committed to helping others discover their strengths, embrace transformation, and build lives rooted in wellness and purpose.

I am a native New Yorker of Puerto Rican descent but have lived in Maryland for the past 21 years. I am the first generation university graduate and the first to graduate from an Ivy League Institution (Columbia University). I am the mother of an amazing daughter and a dog lover. My interest and positions range from teaching as an adjunct professor for Morgan State University School of Social Work to officiating women’s high school level basketball. I have worked as an executive, administrator and a clinician in various treatment modalities which include substance abuse, mental health, residential treatment centers and family and children services. I believe I bring a unique perspective having lived and worked in two major cities with similar societal and socio- economic issues.

Dr. Michael Nettles, LCPC | Clinical Supervisor
Dr. Michael W. Nettles is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Virginia and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. He is also a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) and a Department of Transportation (DOT) qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), with certifications from the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals.
With more than 25 years of clinical and administrative experience, Dr. Nettles specializes in behavioral health, mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and community corrections. He is certified by the National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).
Dr. Nettles earned his graduate degree in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completed a Master’s Level Certificate in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University, and received his Doctorate in Counseling from Freedom Bible College and Seminary.
Dr. Nettles is the Founder, President, and Director of Training and Educational Development for Community Outreach Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization in College Park, Maryland, that provides counseling, DUI/DWI education, substance use treatment, mental health services, anger management, and relapse prevention programs.

Kinley Millett, LMSW | Therapist
Ms. Kinley Millett, an empathetic psychotherapist, offers her expertise at Elevated Wellness Clinic in Hyattsville, MD.
She offers a range of services, including providing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) counseling, bereavement/grief counseling, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Holding a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Ms. Millett combines academic knowledge with a compassionate approach in her practice.
With a focus on individual well-being, she tailors therapeutic interventions to meet each patient’s distinct mental health needs. Those seeking effective and empathetic counseling can rely on Ms. Millett to support their mental health journey.

Emily Becker, LGPC | Therapist & Alcohol and Drug Trainee
Ms. Emily Becker is a warm, friendly, and trustworthy psychotherapist. As part of her formal education, she earned a Master’s degree in Criminology from Penn West University and a Post Master’s Certificate in Rehabilitative Counseling from Coppin State University. Ms. Becker is an active standing Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) as well as an Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) in the state of Maryland.
Ms. Becker virtually counsels patients from various communities and backgrounds, with co-occurring diagnoses via Elevated Wellness Clinic. Her experience and training allows for each patient to receive customized care to address their specific concerns.
Ms. Becker approaches therapy from a trauma-informed and person-centered perspective to address patients’ mental health and substance abuse concerns. Ms. Becker aims to help patients find realistic goals to their solutions to overcome everyday life challenges.

I specialize in addressing cognitive functioning and emotional regulation, helping clients develop strategies to improve mental clarity, enhance resilience, and achieve sustainable wellness. Taylor Cook is a Compliance and Human Resources Specialist at Elevated Wellness Clinic, dedicated to ensuring that the organization upholds the highest standards of care, accountability, and operational excellence. With a keen eye for detail and a genuine commitment to the mission, Taylor supports both staff and clients by maintaining the documentation, processes, and systems that keep Project Success running at its best.
Taylor brings a strong policy and analytical foundation to her compliance work, grounded in her academic training and passion for systems that serve people well. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Spelman College and an M.S. in Political Analytics from Columbia University; a background that equips her with the critical thinking and data-driven perspective that quality compliance work demands.

Hi, my name is Amanda Wilton-Morales, and I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I’ve always been passionate about connecting with others and making a positive impact in my community. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, as well as two master’s degrees—one in Organizational Leadership and another in Clinical Mental Health. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Health Science. My work is rooted in empathy, growth, and meaningful connection. I look forward to the opportunity to support and serve you.

Thomas Lockhart | Case Manager
Over the past eighteen years as a human services professional, I have worked at the grassroots level providing peer support, direct services, case management, and care coordination for individuals within the mental health, intellectual disability, and addiction recovery communities. I am a NAADAC Certified Addictions Professional, Forensic Certified Peer Specialist, Peer Recovery Coach, and Peer Recovery Specialist. My volunteer, professional, and academic experiences have broadened my understanding of the human services field and strengthened my ability to provide holistic, trauma-informed services. As a result, I am well prepared to promote wellness, life skills, and recovery through education, support, and the integration of lived experience.

My journey in behavioral health began as a Residential Monitor, and I’ve since served as a Case Manager, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, PRP Coordinator, and Housing Coordinator. I’m passionate about helping people take the first step toward recovery by leading with compassion, honesty, and respect. I’m open about sharing my own lived experiences when it can inspire hope and build trust. My goal is to ensure every person who comes through our doors feels welcomed, supported, and confident that they’re not alone on their journey to wellness

She specializes in providing peer-to-peer support that emphasizes empowerment, resilience, and connection. Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, Polynexi creates a safe and supportive space where people feel seen, heard, and encouraged to take control of their recovery process.
Polynexi is deeply engaged in recovery advocacy and community outreach, helping to reduce stigma and promote mental health awareness. She is especially passionate about supporting underserved communities and ensuring that recovery resources are accessible to all.
